“It has always seemed strange to me… The things that we admire in men, kindness and generosity, an open mind, honesty, understanding and feelings are the concomitants of failure in our system…
But those traits that we detest, sharpness, greed, grabbing everything, nastiness, egotism and self-interest are the traits of success. While men admire the human qualities of the first, they love the results of the later.”
John Steinbeck, Cannery Row
Contact Rules
The internet is a new form of communication and it was designed to to communicate and connect with others, in 1969. Later on, in 1971 the first email exchanges were made. A great online opportunity to positively impact billions of people, with or without our association support, in Europe.
Not surprisingly, a regular and healthy communication through eMail is essential for keeping our members focused and informed about upcoming events, industry news, new resources and other relevant updates.
Achtung!
Making the choice to treat others with care in small but very consistent ways can be very well regarded by our directors and other members. Unfortunately, many people take advantage of the distant and sometimes anonymous nature of the internet to attack somebody.
Some people use it as their chance to lash out, ridiculing others, insulting and harassing without any constraints. Now, if you are a cyberbully, we will not tolerate you…

“Commerce is a cure for the most destructive prejudices, for it is almost a general rule that wherever can we find agreeable manners, there commerce flourishes… and that wherever there is commerce, there we will meet with agreeable manners.”
Baron de Montesquieu, The Spirit of the Laws
