Focus

Focus is Keyword

Focus is Keyword in Product Development. We know that the most important thing to remember when designing innovative products is that design is for people. To design great products, we must deliver the right features, with the right user experience for the right people.

We consider imperative to define our target audience, then research and find out what are their problems to be able to focus on building a product that solves those problems, yes, people’s problems.

We think of product design as the process of identifying a market opportunity, clearly defining the users’ problem, studying and developing a fantastic solution for that problem and validating the solution with real users.

Design is How it Works

Design is not what it looks like. Design is how it works. We think of design as a human-centred approach to innovation that integrates the needs of people, the many possibilities of modern technologies and the requirements for product and business success.

We use technology in product design to blend user needs with business goals to help our associated members and outside brands make consistently successful products for education and cultural needs. We deeply involve the bearing and development of ideas through a systematic process that leads to the creation of innovative products.

Focus is to say NO

Focus on a great and meaningful project is to say no to thousands of different proposals and ideas that look good on paper, but only end up wasting our time and energy.

Concentration is the ability to direct our attention following our own will. The triumph of the will. Concentration means total control of our attention, the ability to focus our mind on one object or idea and exclude from our mind every other unrelated ideas, feelings and sensations.

In the most advanced countries of the World, our daily routine is dominated by switching in and out of our mobile phones and computers. We get a constant influx of messages from WhatsApp, eMail, Telegram and the other apps that may or may not be critical to our job or private life.

Perfection is achieved, not when there is nothing more to add, but when there is nothing left to take away.

Antoine de Saint Exupery

Search for Information

We constantly search for information to solve our daily problems or to get our work done. We are in contact with people that very often do not improve our life, at all.

Frequent distractions affect productivity and it takes longer to finish a task, many distractions may even prevent us from accomplishing our mission, from finishing our daily work.

Frequent distractions prevent us from listening to you and comprehend things well, whether with our love partner or with our work colleagues and we end up misunderstanding what is being said, performing wrong interpretations of a subject and we are prone to conflict.

Ideas are like Rabbits

Frequent distractions affects our memory. We forget things or cannot recall information promptly, which affects our personal life and professional image. Ideas are like rabbits? Yes, you may have 2 rabbits at home now, but they breed so fast that soon enough you will have 15 or more rabbits at hand. Can you give attention to all of them?

That being said, you should easily guess that we do not want everybody to work with us, especially if you do not have a personality profile compatible with our beloved association’s objectives. We are not interested in all of your “genius ideas” floating around that only distract us from our objectives, we are not interested in what you might want to say to us or even your most amazing “vision for the future” of our association… if you do not want to work.

We also do not care at all if your rich daddy owns a big factory and you may bring the “big bucks”, just to shine as president of our technology association, in order to make your daddy proud of his sonny boy or princess girl.
